I'll all for a 24 movie ... but I heard that the movie will be still set over a 24 hour period so obviously not in real time - which is true to the series i guess, but does anyone think they should call this 124 instead and have the scenario play out in real time over 124 minutes? that would be far ...

I agree with Andy - I think the whole horror remake situation now is now getting WAY out of hand! I mean - in a few years pretty much every genre film from the 70s and 80s will be re-done - and only a handful will be worth our time and money. As far as other horror films yet to be re-done - wasn't t...

Wait a second ... there's going to be another remake of The BLOB? I hadn't heard of that one - why bother? The original is campy but enjoyable and the remake is still a solid horror effort (with decent effects even by today's standards) - so do we really need another version of the story? When will ...

It's so good to see Shane Black back - truly one of the more talented writers to emerge from the late 80s despite not writing "prestige" movies, he was still one of the best action writers to have ever worked in the genre (Steve DeSouza was up there too, but the less said about his recent ...

THE TRUMAN SHOW!!! The DVD that exists now is a joke - would love to here Carrey and Weir's commentary and see the deleted scenes that are said to exist - a film that good deserves to be better treated on DVD - also The Frighteners would be my second pick at the Special Edition treatment (with an Is...

Hiya Andy - I had to post to register my strong disagreement with u on the BB debate - I think this is definitely worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as the first two Supermans and towers over the Spider-Man and X-Men films. Spider-Man 2 was one of the most overrated films of the past decad...

The Aviator will win, but I'm really hoping that Sideways somehow bucks the odds and comes through. Doubt it though! Million Dollar Baby is a very strong chance and has the momentum, and Finding Neverland and Ray are just making up the numbers, sadly. What Ray is doing nominated for best picture whe...

Hopefully The Village will win, but I'd be happy to see Lemony Snicket get up so that Thomas Newman can finally win the award after being snubbed so many times, Harry Potter has little chance, same for Finding Neverland. I think The Passion is a shoe-in. But the best of the nominated scores is The V...
