Re: GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - Trailer
Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson seemed...less than enthused on the talk show circuit. Murray on Fallon made a snarky comment or two then brought out a card of the entire cast, which seemed bigger than a Cecil B. DeMille extravaganza -- all for a 109 minute sequel (which I think was his point). You want...

Re: INDIANA JONES & THE DIAL OF DESTINY To Rival "John Carter" As Disney's Biggest Bomb
It was the perfect way to bring him back into the franchise -- and he's not elderly either! Kennedy and Disney fail, as usual...

Re: INDIANA JONES & THE DIAL OF DESTINY To Rival "John Carter" As Disney's Biggest Bomb
That movie was so obviously tinkered with, how can anyone think logically the script was ever written out that way and reshoots weren't involved. In other news, what a misfire it was not to include Quan in the movie. Have him as the sidekick instead of Fleabag and/or dump Sallah (did anyone even car...

Re: Neil Armstrong Movie Airbrushes History
A movie that nobody saw and was very quickly forgotten by those who saw it pretty much. That is one other thing about the current pop culture -- if nobody finds it straightaway, nobody is going to. There isn't even a $5 dump bin at Walmart for these to sit in anymore. Unsuccessful movies are basical...

Re: The Marvels...done your MCU homework yet?
Indeed, it will be somewhat interesting to see if DEADPOOL still has the same juice it had before COVID, or if its a joke that's worn out its welcome. Obviously the MCU is ripe for the ribbing at this stage, but it'll obviously depend on how far they take it (or Disney allows them to). Even if it su...

Re: Did you all skip the Oscars telecast too?
I liked the GODZILLA MINUS ONE team winning VFX, which was kind of awesome when you think about the dubious legacy of man-in-the-suit giant monster flicks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3q7SaXhCPE Otherwise I was in and out of the Oscars. OPPENHEIMER was a deserved winner this year -- one o...

"Hey it's me I'm still here!"
So she "owes them a draft" does she? This is another STAR WARS project that's never getting made.

Re: "These Aren't the New STAR WARS Movie Announcements You've Been Waiting For"
The third season sucked. A couple of good episodes but even Theo's interest was gone by the end -- he watched one episode of OBI WAN and that was the end of STAR WARS for him (he's never mentioned it since!). 8) It's too bad because the first season of THE MANDALORIAN showed the potential for making...

Re: STAR TREK For Sale to Warner Bros.?!?!
Thanks Chris, I don't have any inside knowledge, it's just what my gut feeling tells me. If Skydance is mostly interested in movie making STAR TREK as a cinematic entity just has no juice right now. It's like you really need a series to pivot off the property, and at least in Doomcock's video, the w...

Yeah....what a surprise this is.
The Katee Sackhoff character does nothing for me at all.

Re: STAR TREK Complete Original Series STEELBOOK Blu-Ray - $44
You can choose which version you want with these Chris -- flip from the old versions to the new versions. The price is right and the Steelbooks are very attractive 8) The Star Trek Original Series BLu-Ray release has, admittedly, always had technical issues with some players. With the previous stand...

Yeah I don't buy that. OCD message boarders losing their minds.
If there's a problem it's with the pressing not the packaging. The regular release in its original box had more issues for me (and a lot of people) than this does. The newer the pressing the better off you probably are.

Re: STAR TREK Complete Original Series STEELBOOK Blu-Ray - $44
No reason to. The discs have always had some issues across every release, stacked or not stacked but these have worked well for me. Could be the newer pressing.
