Re: GODZILLA X KONG - The "Colorcast" is Back
I pretty much loved it and honestly for what it is, it's a perfect kids movie and a throwback to 50s Sci fi where people would go walking through the jungle, find some undiscovered tribe, etc. Except this time in the ridiculous hollow earth setting! This movie really is a kids film too. There's not...

Re: rate the last movie you saw
But as far as I'm concerned, if George Lucas wants to play this game of irresponsibility to historic preservation simply to cheat his ex-wife out of royalty money (I am 1000% convinced this is the reason why he has done what he has regarding the original cuts), I'm going to register what I think of...

Re: Rate The Last TV Show Episode You Watched
In contrast The Road Warrior gets no more than two or three minutes of coverage, which is pretty unforgivable considering how influential it was -- and that it was a big hit despite being a sequel to a film almost no one in America saw. The original Mad Max made $100 million! https://screenrant.com...

Re: "These Aren't the New STAR WARS Movie Announcements You've Been Waiting For"
The appeal of the original Star Wars in 1977 was due, in large part, to it being so UNcomplicated and black & white, coming towards the tail end of a decade where real life was so consistently awful (crime, poverty, mistrust of government due to Watergate, ect.). Now that we've emerged from an e...

Who are these FETUSES in the cast...? https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/split_5_16x9_template_v1-copy.jpg?w=1296&h=730&crop=1 We've come a long way from the days a sci-fi movie cast could look like this: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNjIyODEzYTItZjY3Ny00M...

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - Trailer
This one checks so many boxes and has so many cast members its amazing it isn't 3 hours long. Plus half the scenes in the trailer aren't in the movie which is an obvious sign of trouble typically. There you go. :P I'll see this...but not until the middle of next week. No burning desire whatsoever. ...

Sure sounds like a side-splitting laugh riot, huh?
Somehow we've gone from a movie featuring Dan Akyroyd crossing his eyes while getting a spectral BJ into a movie about teen suicide.

Re: New James Bond: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Next in Line?
I don't care who they cast, as long as they let Bond...be Bond, instead of a scowling bore who spends five movies straight moping over his dead girlfriend. We want FUN and ESCAPISM again.

I'm happy as hell that Quan's making a legit return to acting. Having him and Indy on a new adventure would have been so much better than seeing a gaunt, frail-looking John Rhys-Davies being reduced to Indy's Uber driver.
