you seriously judge Giacchino on that little snippet? Give me and him a break... I like it by the way. Apparently it is the main theme, which goes through many variations in the film. I doubt any Goldsmith material will pop up, as his theme is nowadays associated with TNG, despite THE MOTION PICTURE...

I actually liked AUSTRALIA a lot and the score was incredible, how something as horrible looking like 4 xmases can become no.1 is beyond me though... there are so many more interesting and better films out right now... ugh

that's great news. Havent seen it in a long time, but I loved the movie. I always hoped it would be shown somewhere in a theater to get that fullscreen-widescreen/mono-stereo sound experience. With some luck they try to redo this on the dvd... going from mono sound to blasting surround or something....
