As 2007 will be the 30th anniversary of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, can we expect a new addition of this movie. Perhaps the deleted scenes reinstated? It's ceratinly a movie that Spielberg should go back to and give us the definitive version.

Are the discs double-sided?
Yes, it's a fun show. All the usual stock features you'd expect from an Irwin Allen production, from the guest actors to the footage. It was always one of my favourites. Is this a complete season set or is it split into two?

I just wish studios like Universal and Fox wouldn't release these box sets with double sided discs.

I see there are several versions of Starcrash out on DVD, mostly imorts I'm guessing. Any idea which would be the better one to buy? Also, is The Humanoid on DVD yet?

Nobody seems all that interested in the show. The best way for fans to see it will be on dvd. I'll be getting them, if only to change my copies.

Looks like Network have come through once more with the goodies. Rather puts the A&E boxset to shame. In addition, music -only tracks have been included for every episode except for 'Breakaway.' Can't wait to see what they do with the second series. http://networkdvd.co.uk/space1999series1.htm[/u]

There is a French 2-disc DVD coming out in a couple of weeks that includes the same extras as well as a trailer (I don't know if it's French or English) and a 25-minute making of from the time called Stars' War , although no news on whether that will be dubbed or in English. This is on the Region 1...

I saw the boxset today and noticed that the slimline cases. It looks like the discs are double-sided too. How I hate these double-sided discs.
