im pretty sure many will love the score, it just depends on whether you like the theme or not... sometimes you like one, sometimes you dont... Star Trek 3 is to me just a lazy rewrite of part 2... never caught fire on that score, part 4 has a very nice title theme, but I always found it at odds with...

I got the cd already and well, Im pretty disappointed. It certainly has some Star Trek sound, but that's pretty much it. I wouldnt say the score is bad, it is just, that I dont like the theme much and it is virtually in every cue... so, what can you do if you dont like a theme but it pops up all the...

you seriously judge Giacchino on that little snippet? Give me and him a break... I like it by the way. Apparently it is the main theme, which goes through many variations in the film. I doubt any Goldsmith material will pop up, as his theme is nowadays associated with TNG, despite THE MOTION PICTURE...

well, if that was the book, what can you do? at least the author of the book wrote the screenplay for the film, so he seemed to have realized that he gone a bit too far with the book... well, too far is a matter of what you want to read or see... anyway... with the people behind the remake Im confid...

I found it quite overrated. For a swedish film it is certainly an achievement and I doubt that in my homecountry Germany we would ever be able to achieve something like this (just because of a lack of talent and disinterest of the audience in Germany for a german horror film)... still, I thought the...

unfortunately Brad Pitt will get enough girls into the film to make its money back... this looks really beyond any crap I imagined... but well, I thought GRINDHOUSE must be horrible, but was pleasantly surprised of both films... still, in the cast are also some of Germany's biggest and most untalent...

well, 20 mill is not THAT bad in January, INKHEART is a surprising bomb, wasnt it based on a bestseller book series around the world? I know at least in Europe they are very succesful and very good apparently. Dont know how the movie did in Germany, where it opened a couple weeks ago. But I think mo...

I completely agree... I never liked ABBA much anyway and even before I moved to Sweden I was bombarded with their music every day, but even if you are a fan I thought you had to admit that the film is horrible. Keep listening to the CDs, if you like ABBA, but please don't find a movie just because i...

that's great news. Havent seen it in a long time, but I loved the movie. I always hoped it would be shown somewhere in a theater to get that fullscreen-widescreen/mono-stereo sound experience. With some luck they try to redo this on the dvd... going from mono sound to blasting surround or something....

my prayers are answered! thanks to the powers that be in hollywood! yeah! interesting list... but dark knight, indy 4 and kung fu panda's successes astonish me... not one of them deserved that much! they were alright, but not THAT good... really... especially KUNG FU PANDA which played it so safe in...
