Who are these FETUSES in the cast...? https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/split_5_16x9_template_v1-copy.jpg?w=1296&h=730&crop=1 We've come a long way from the days a sci-fi movie cast could look like this: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BNjIyODEzYTItZjY3Ny00M...

Re: GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - Trailer
This one checks so many boxes and has so many cast members its amazing it isn't 3 hours long. Plus half the scenes in the trailer aren't in the movie which is an obvious sign of trouble typically. There you go. :P I'll see this...but not until the middle of next week. No burning desire whatsoever. ...

Sure sounds like a side-splitting laugh riot, huh?
Somehow we've gone from a movie featuring Dan Akyroyd crossing his eyes while getting a spectral BJ into a movie about teen suicide.

Re: New James Bond: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Next in Line?
I don't care who they cast, as long as they let Bond...be Bond, instead of a scowling bore who spends five movies straight moping over his dead girlfriend. We want FUN and ESCAPISM again.

I'm happy as hell that Quan's making a legit return to acting. Having him and Indy on a new adventure would have been so much better than seeing a gaunt, frail-looking John Rhys-Davies being reduced to Indy's Uber driver.

People giving me crap about being "factually wrong" about the Dial Of Destiny reshoots on Twitter. It's been almost a year, the movie bombed, they can 'fess up already!

Re: The Marvels...done your MCU homework yet?
Even if it succeeds, it's not really evidence that "audiences are BACK for comic book movies!" though... Reynolds' quips cast a wider, R-rated net with adult audiences as opposed to "MCU" movies. To some extent they are not the same audience. This was always the difference betwe...

Re: Did you all skip the Oscars telecast too?
I actually found it the breeziest and most entertaining Oscar telecast in many years. And starting it an hour early was GREATLY appreciated (and I hope that becomes a standard...who wants to stay up until almost midnight on a Sunday? :?). Some wins I really appreciated (like Mr. G 8)), and there wer...

Re: The Marvels...done your MCU homework yet?
For the MCU, it's all over but the grousing at this point. I seriously doubt even teaming up Deadpool & Wolverine this summer is going to re-galvanize anyone's interest in a truly moribund genre.
