Re: ARGYLLE - Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard - February
His movies usually get ruined by 15 minutes of vulgar excesses and it's a lesson he's yet to learn. Ironically, Argylle is a PG-13 movie! And it feels like an R-rated movie that got severely edited for that rating, with action sequences lacking the blood-bag gore I was expecting from Vaughn.

Re: Has streaming become a form of Stockholm Syndrome...?
Feast or famine, it's a tough market a few minor successes like this can't offset. They need one of these every month to hit not one every quarter or longer. This is WHY studios need to push back against selling their movies to the highest-bidding streamer, especially for the kinds of mid-budget ac...

I dunno...the last time Burton riffed on cheesy 50s sci-fi, we got the gleefully bonkers Mars Attacks!.

Re: QR codes in the end credits of movies
It's embarrassing. Even worse than product placement! I remember being nonplussed when there was a trailer for X-Men: Days Of Future Past halfway through the end credits of Amazing Spider-Man 2 . It wasn't even a promise of a future crossover (Disney's buyout of Fox was years in the future)...

QR codes in the end credits of movies
Last year Sound Of Freedom did it, and now Origin. It's like that "THIS SPACE FOR RENT" gag from Top Secret! has actually come to pass.

Ugh that sucks. Did you get it through Amazon? Just replace if you can. Best Buy. Eh, I had an Arrow-sized case lying around that has hinges. It's clear, so it doesn't match, but at least it fits the insert, and will hold the disc tray securely. Not worth the hassle of sending the whole thing back.

...and my Barbarian case has a broken hinge. And those "thick" Arrow cases are almost impossible to replace.
