Filthy on Last House On the Left

He makes me laugh a lot. He's certainly not gonna win any literary awards, but I like his basic understanding of characters and plots. With the abundance of over-intellectualized reviews, I like to keep it simple. He has his charmingly ignorant moments, and I find him to hit home what's wrong with a...

It's doing very well. Big hold this weekend apparently on tap.

13 seed Cleveland St taking it to da house! Wisconsin beats FSU in OT. And the darlings Siena beating OSU in double OT with a 3 with three seconds left. Sweeeeeet! Things are heatin' up! 8)

This might overachieve just because in these kinds of economic times and such people are looking even more for fun, lighthearted, escapist fare.

Pardon, but what you mean is 'non-stimulating trash'. :)

Another NCAA fan??? Pessimist there's no need to leave, start up an NCAA thread for crying out loud my friend! :) This is one of my favorite times of year as well. We did a small pool here a few years ago but there weren't enough folks involved to make it viable. I'll do my best, but due to the boy...

See you later

Due to the many local girls & boys sports tournaments as well as NCAA's, I'll see you next month. This is my favorite time of the year, so it's crazy fun. Take care. 8)

I'm sorry, but I don't watch these anymore since I find them to be brewed in politics. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the committee's voting strikes me as odd. What exactly struck you as odd? I didn't think last night's show was "brewed in politics" -- in fact I found most of it quite...

Star Wars is tagged with ushering in the visual spectacle that would replace character and plot-driven stories. But the reason fans keep going back to SW is because of the characters and storyline. So it probably is a little more of a sake of what came after him, though it eventually caught up with ...

Shyamalan

Despite the criticisms towards his writing, I have to admit there's no one out there who has his ideas. When they are working it's totally transcending. I see The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs , and The Village as his best. It was a little disorienting to see him give away the big payoff a bit too...
