I had the same reactions to the trailer, but today on AVATAR DAY I saw the 20min at the theaters and the trailer doesnt do it justice! The NAVIS looked so real, I have never seen anything like it... heck they even showed emotions better than many actors out ther! That was truly unbelievable, also th...

it is an ok film... I guess for a Norwegian Film you cant ask for much more, as they hardly have any film industry... it is fun, though it takes way too long to get going, it tries for the first half to set a scary atmosphere, which Ive seen hundred times already and done better, and it appeared esp...

still, I dont think Bru-NO was expensive to make, so they got their profit... but certainly they expected a lot more... TRANSFORMERS I guess will be kept in theaters until it breaks 400... ugh... and Im baffled how much THE HANGOVER made... not that I think that it is bad, just rarely a comedy makes...

yeah, I was a bit surprised by that Raimi played it like this. But then on the other hand with the coin was just a side thing in one scene at the beginning, Im surprised how well that sticked with the audience... It is probably a fine line how to drop something like this... in THE DESCENT people har...

well, all SAW Films have Downer Endings and everyone loves and expects that on them now... I personally loved the ending and didnt find it a downer, but just fun! spoiler!!!! Of course the thing with the coin was predictable, still I thought now her boyfriend gets dragged to hell or something, that ...

at least both brothers are quite old already, so soon I dont have to endure any Tony Scott film anymore and Ridley's outings may not be an endurance test, but they have hardly been interesting either... hardly I know a director with such highs and such lows... to have Fincher now direct his first AL...

I agree... Ripley's story was told in ALIENS... they should have really gone into a new direction in Part 3 and start with new characters... still I like 3 and 4, especially 4 had a very good setup and I like her character, but it just ends in an ordinary chase through the spaceship film, which was ...

well, 2 things trouble me about this: 1.) Fox Studios... this studio is big on producing crap in the last years. Not one of their big films has any quality... their treatment of AVP is a clear sign how little they care about the film itself. All that counts is the name and hopefully a good opening. ...

T3 score was a severe disappointment to me... Marco's first big big film and then he couldnt show what he is able to do... to be fair it wasnt overscored and the big chase had no score in the final mix. The cue he wrote for it originally was really really great... a lot of his music wasnt used in th...

absolutely agree with Andy on T2 and T3... even when T2 came out I never felt it particularly impresse besides the effects... especially the showdown was super boring... one of the key problems is the lousy sound design score... and I yawn already when I read in reviews for T4 people complaining abo...

Im very positive about STAR TREK too... as Im not a comic book reader or at least not a superhero reader I dont expect high art and there are certainly many comic books which are just silly, yet the readers think a film of it would be the best thing ever... still, WOLVERINE was really really awful. ...

pretty big, but given the overall disappointment with it Im pretty sure it will end up far behind the last 2 installments... add the immense budget and it seems unlikely we will get another Wolvie-Film... and do we really need one? still, Im very curious about STAR TREK's success... it can be really...

I agree, I found Eidelman's effort quite overrated and GENERATIONS quite underrated, some of the actionstuff is really good and kicks some scenes :-) For me the 60ies theme is also a bit odd and dated, but it makes more sense than Goldsmith's theme, which is now more associated with the next generat...
