well, the difference is that BJD and JARHEAD are intelligent anti-warmovies, who criticize war and everything. GI JOE is some silly propaganda for american soldiers and if you guys think that is what the world outside of the US wants to see and agrees upon you should travel a bit more. What the US c...

well... you are exagerating here a bit... I think he only got 2 rejections... cruel intentions and partly on H20... on H20 I think the studio couldnt imagine a slasher without the then popular Beltrami sound as virtually all their movies had Beltrami attached to them back then and on CI I guess his ...

it is just that usually his action music is lousy, uninvolving and cheap... (except xxx, but he had to stay veeery close there to the temp or even a ghostwriter came in) certainly nothing we need for high energy movies like the mummy franchise. But it could have been worse... some MV crap... I like ...

Rob Cohen wrote in his blog that Randy Edelman will score it. Well... hope he goes full orchestra mode... and no cheap synths this time! He has 3 (well 2) great predecessors, so he shouldnt suddenly come up with low energy, cheap synths or even showdowns with no score at all... well, his themes are ...

i think it sounds like a good idea... not very original, but that would make sense in the way, that a pure prequel loses it`s suspense factor as we all would know everyone would survive, because there were ST1-10... so in an alternate timeline you could kill off whoever and like blowing up VULCAN an...

seriously, who wants to see THOR? Can it get any more ridiculuos? They are really running out of superheroes... lol... even IRON MAN looks really stupid, horribly (mis)cast... who lets Gwyneth get a part in something like this and why does she like to do something like this? That she once won an Osc...

whoa... well, i guess a) WB could have released with numbers like this Hirschbiegels version right away, it could have not made any less than this b) there was no interest in a remake for this story anymore (although I think there are some clever ideas in it... that actually the aliens do a good thi...

i totally missed too, that it opened this WE... lol... well, the trailer looked rather strange and like they didnt know who to target with it.

It has been a very troubled production (according to several sources just because of the director, who had no experience with handling something this big)...

the 300 movie may be as close to the graphic novel as a movie can be, but well, this only tells me, that not every great comic makes a great movie. I flip through the book in 5 minutes and like the pictures, but the movie takes me 2 painfull hours... and content of 10 pages is no content for 120 min...

I guess Elliot made with Tylers help now more money on his TITUS score than he made back then... lol... that they even had to print this on the first site on the website shows how much pressure WB got and how much money they must have paid to Elliot. Harhar... maybe this prevents ripoffs like this i...

300 Elliot Goldenthal strikes!

"Warner Bros. Pictures acknowledges and regrets that a number of the music cues for the score of "300" were, without our knowledge or participation, derived from music composed by Academy Award winning composer Elliot Goldenthal for the motion picture "Titus." Warner Bros. P...

oh yeah, it was way too long... what was that with the 5 endings? it really didnt know when to end... a lot of great jokes, but I didnt find the basic premise very interesting and well it was too long, Simon Pegg wasnt very credible as the tough cop either. Also the self-aware editing was very funny...

so MarkB, how did you like it? I can understand your critizism, but there are definitely things in it, which have some cultural background, which is hard for us to understand for us Westeners, so in certain aspects it is a bit hard to judge. I understand if the humour is not your thing, but I laughe...

I rather see a talented actress looking natural past her 50ies than some stupid chick called Megan Ward or whatever the name of that bimbo in Transformers was... we have to thank DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES for Hollywood realizing that women over 40 can still be sexy and interesting... havent seen OCEANS 1...
