Doesn't this movie open Friday? All I know is that it runs 89 minutes -- there's not one review anywhere.
Perhaps this was just Universal plugging a hole in the schedule because F&F was moved to '15 and not so much a "vote of confidence" as some claimed.
Hmmm....

I'll take an unpretentious 89-minute movie over the 165-minute summer monsters we've been getting as of late.

Well it has as many reviews as Hercules does right now. Starting to get another lousy summer weekend at the movies feel lol

I'll still see it, just because I want to see SOMEthing, and its brief and has ScarJo.

I don't blame you MJ, I just don't have the luxury of going out to see something I'm on the fence about these days.
Reviews are slowly trickling out on Twitter -- it's apparently terrible, but whether it works as a guilty pleasure (or not) seems to be up to how much you like Scarjo...and if you can turn your brain off completely while it's going on. lol

"It's the kind of freewheeling mess of a movie you wish studios would try out more often."

Looks like most reviews are pretty good...and so are HERCULES' notices also. Who knew?

Sounds like either is an OK bet. HERCULES has passed LUCY on RT incredibly.
I'll be watching JAWS at home most likely!

Re: LUCY - Luc Besson - Review Embargoed?
A friend of mine saw the film and was severely let down by the movie's "arty pretentiousness". This doesn't surprise me because Besson's movies usually have an air of pompous, self-seriousness about them.
I'm curious to see how well it does, but I laughed out loud at the $40 million "over/under" number I saw being floated by a box-office guy on Twitter. I'll be surprised if it does much over $25 million.
