British distributors 101 Films have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray Clive Donner's film Charlie Chan and the Curse of the Dragon Queen (1981), starring Peter Ustinov, Lee Grant, Angie Dickinson, Richard Hatch, and Brian Keith. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on October 19.
The song Ustinov warbles over the opening credits is SO awful...and what's worse, the German Blu-Ray uses it as the menu music, so it repeats in an endless loop unless you start the disc right away.
