I've been hunting for this for years and years. Anyway it has finally resurfaced at last, courtesy of a fine person who lived in Colorado and recorded the entire thing -- even with commercials.

Very interesting assortment of deleted scenes including a weird prologue involving a UBoat and the Robert Shaw character as a young boy.

Shame we never got this version as promised on laserdisc...maybe one day on Blu-Ray.
