We've written a bit about this before but it sounds more promising now that folks got a glimpse of some WOLFMAN footage the other night at Comic Con.
Granted, remakes are all the rage -- but I have hopes for this WOLFMAN...a Universal period remake of one of their classic monsters, Joe Johnston helming, Rick Baker doing the make-up, Tim Burton colleague Rick Heinrichs doing the production design, and a solid cast too (Anthony Hopkins, the lovely Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving and of course Benicio Del Toro who already looks like the Wolfman without the make-up!). The script is by Andrew Kevin Walker ("Sleepy Hollow") and David Self.
Would be nice if Horner did the score...either way it's due out February 9th and looks to keep the original '40s classic right in mind.
