On the Monsterkidforum, the guy who supervised the transfer for MGM-HD with Tobe Hooper said they newly remastered it with Hooper advising them on color correction and such.

This is really good news because the only HD print that's been out there was the 102-minute theatrical release version, and the more LIFEFORCE the better as far as I'm concerned.

Might be time to run my LIFEFORCE tribute again as I do every year or so!

does Directors Cut mean it is different than the long cut or what version will we see now? hopefully some extras too, im sure an AC by Hooper would be hilarious!

It'll be the 116 min. cut on the US DVD.

I dunno about a Blu Ray Roman but I would hope so!! MGM's releases have been few and far between :(
