The only Stanley Kramer film I would have taken is "On The Beach". His other dramas I've no desire to revisit.

"Bunny Lake Is Missing" had an interesting beginning but got WAYYYY too silly at the end when its predictable resolution finally became evident.

I'm frankly not interested in any of the titles on the TT November/December list.
I will pick up a few of the titles on the September/October spread, but this last batch for 2014 just doesn't have anything I've been jumping up and down to see on Blu.

I may re-evaluate with Birdman of Alcatraz, Judgment at Nuremberg or Inherit the Wind.

Who wants to bet we'll see a glut of cheaply-priced Fright Night Blus hitting the market on eBay and Amazon?

If you own that disc and haven't sold it by now, that's your own fault. Lol. It was only a matter of time before it resurfaced again.

Awesome news on all these! Zardoz is a great guilty pleasure of mine (and worth it for Geoffrey Unsworths's photography of the Irish scenery alone), while The Bounty is an undervalued classic and Richard III one of the greatest Shakespeare movies of all time.

Sorry family, I'm afraid it's stocking stuffers for all of you this year. I have Blu-rays to buy...

I'm most excited by BREAKING AWAY -- one of the great films of the late '70s -- which I've never seen in high-def.

Also look forward to seeing THE BOUNTY, THE FANTASTICKS, and even ZARDOZ, though I'm not nearly as much of a fan of that as Paul is. lol. But seeing pasty Connery running around in a thong IS kind of hilarious.

Thong? Connery even sports a wedding dress in this movie!
