Audiences excited for another year of super-heroes and sequel retreads....according to Fandango's audience survey.

And they wonder why attendance is at its lowest point since 1995?

The problem is some aging fanboys have the same mentality!

I question whether a 12 year old today even cares about STAR WARS. To most of them, it's likely just one more assembly-line franchise that pipes out an installment every year. They'll go to see it and maybe enjoy it, but it doesn't hold the special appeal it did when the originals came out and had much more of a cultural impact (not to mention were far better movies AND the only genre show in town, unlike today, where we are deluged with similar product). Kids would today would have no idea what's special about it (and why would they, based on the 3 movies Disney has produced so far).
