THE WOODS looks fairly intriguing (opens on the 16th)...as does EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will be kind to genre fare. God knows there's enough of it on TV to last for several normal TV seasons!Carlson2005 wrote:I must admit, I've really wanted to go out to see a movie but for the last two-three weeks there's only been one movie I'm even remotely interested in seeing playing anywhere, and since it's such a long schlepp to the local multiplex I usually like to catch 2-3 on the same trip.

According to this morning's Variety figures, Sound of Thunder did $1.2m. Personally, I'm gutted - that means that Michael Bay's The Island is no longer the flop of the summer...
Oh, hang on a minute - the summer season's over - Michael Bay's The Island WAS the flop of the summer!
Yeah, America!!! (Sometimes they get it right)
