WALL STREET 2 Shown at Cannes; Reaction Positive

#1 Post by AndyDursin »

Shia looks like the kiss of death for sequels!

This can't be a good sign...all the publicity and Michael Douglas tie-in interviews (like the cover of Vanity Fair) are on-going now.

They also claim the film is fine, but seeing as the delay comes after it tested for studio execs, it doesn't look promising.

I'm hoping this doesn't happen at all.

This will be the second "old movie sequel" he's played a hand in wrecking, lol.

The trailer looks mighty tired. So does Michael Douglas. Hope he had his Depends on while shooting. (sorry, lol)...

Hey, I'd look tired too if I came home to Catherine Zeta Jones every night...

Early reviews out of Cannes are positive...should see more in the coming days.

"Oliver Stone’s “Wall Street” sequel, subtitled Money Never sleeps, is a hit. It’s a formula Hollywood movie in the great sense. For the first time in a long time, the formula works. "
