Oh, how I wish Benicio Del Toro's Wolfman would pop up and disembowel Kristen Stewart so I don't have to see her spasmodic blinking ever again...

Never read the books, and I've only seen the first film.

It was...watchable, and not without an honest sense of romance and a few decent thrills. But it was also embarrassing and corny at times.

But my main problem is that it is all completely derivative. Its mostly ripoff of Tuck Everlasting and The Lost Boys, with some Interview With The Vampire and Rebel Without A Cause thrown in.

My co-worker's girlfriend waited in line 6 hours to make sure she could get a decent seat...she told me today it was totally worth it. I know nothing about the books or the films...just that a large segment of the population is going nuts about them.

Fail.

That's the most polite thing I can say in response to that. ;)

I've been toying of entering fake Facebook status updates like, "Out with the girls to SEX AND THE CITY 2! Can't wait!" but then I realized I'd probably offend relatives on my wife's side who go to see those films. lol. (Thankfully Joanne hates that and TWILIGHT too!).
