Very strong opening for the surprisingly well-reviewed MAZE RUNNER...Sept. movies seldom hit $30 mil+.

The equally OK-reviewed Liam Neeson picture WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES didn't fare as well. Maybe folks are getting a bit fatigued from Liam's TAKEN formula -- even if this movie is a private eye flick (not that you'd know it from the advertising, which made it look like every other Neeson thriller)
