Cancelled my pre-order for the X-Files complete series box and grabbed the first seven seasons for $66 and change as opposed to $150 for the box. 
Those are pretty much the "good" seasons anyways. Amazing to me that the FIRST SEASON ALONE cost $150 on DVD fifteen years ago.

Been going through the second season since I got the Blu sets last week (watched most of season one on Netflix when they added the HD episodes), and good GOD, does the show look amazing. 
The occasional stock establishing shot will look pretty bad, as will a handful of shots where Fox didn't have access to the original elements, but about 90-95% of the episodes look and sound phenomenal. As an avid X-Phile from the early days, I couldn't be happier. Scary Christmas to me...!
