I just use the zoom feature to get it to fill the screen. I know it's not the sharpest looking thing but it suffices from my standpoint.

Yeah, I've tried it a number of times, but it doesn't really suffice for me. With laserdisc transfers it just enhances the lack of definition and looks atrocious...for professional studio-made 4:3 DVDs like, say, 1941, sometimes they're watchable, but the home-made stuff just looks really horrible. Then again I sold most of my LDs save for stuff like 1776 so I don't have a need for them most of the time.Eric Paddon wrote:I just use the zoom feature to get it to fill the screen. I thought they already released The Fall of the Roman Empire on Blu-ray (and just retitled it Gladiator).
