Sony will be releasing the Special Editions to The Battle of Britain and A Bridge Too Far, October 25. It looks like it will be all the extras that were on the Region 2 versions that were released last year.

This is great news. Hopefully both soundtracks will be intact!

Hopefully, it will be the same as the Region 2. The screen menus are quite outstanding, CGI R.A.F./Luftwaffe fighters flying and ziping across the screen, all done to Goodwin's great score. Also, this version of the film corrects some of the errors that the Region 1 film had, namely crediting Ron Goodwin and having the correct Winston Churchill quote. Good ol' Winnie. Bless him.
