Ghost to be remade in Japan

Patrick Swayze's hit 1990 movie Ghost is set for a Japanese remake. Skip The film, which won two Academy Awards including a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Whoopi Goldberg, is heading back to the big screen under the direction of Taro Otani with an all-Japanese cast.

Ha! That's a switch usually its the japanese stuff thats being remade over here.Remake sounds somewhat interesting will have to keep an eye out for it.

Yeah it's a bit odd, it's happened before I'm sure (though I can't quite recall what film). I'm sure there will be some long, dark haired female ghost running around though -- they always find a way to make that happen in Asian horror movies!!
