Slight goof in the review, Andy. "T.J. Hooker" was an ABC series, airing it's first full season right before "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island" (triple dose of Aaron Spelling!).

I much preferred the arrangement of the theme music during these first two seasons. The third season they went to an overly trendy and less traditional sound that literally made me enjoy the series less than I had before.

Thanks Eric -- I did say it was ABC up at the top of the review. I was thrown off because it ended up at CBS, albeit much later than I indicated ('85 I believe as part of that terrific "CBS Late Movie"? . Anyway I will make a note in the next column! Cheers.
