Emma Stone takes Gwen Stacey role in SPIDER-MAN

I like this casting plenty. Emma Stone's personality is a LOT closer to the MJ from the comic books than Kirsten Dunst. Hopefully that will be confirmed.

How utterly stupid.

First, she has the personality for MJ. And she's a redhead...or at least she's known for being a redhead.

So instead they cast her in the other role, where she'll have to go platinum blonde (I guess she's a natural blonde, but everyone knows her for her red hair...so what gives?!?).

Sony can't seem to get this role right. And I still don't get how they cast a guy who's in his late 20s when the movie is supposed to be about the characters when they were younger or something..........uh, OK, whatever!

Bizarre. She would have been much better as MJ. They'd better really come out with someone really good for MJ at this rate is all I can say.

It's possible MJ isn't a big role in this movie...still I don't get that casting when she made so much sense for MJ outside the fact that Stone is too thin and a bit frail for a super-model look.
