Vanishing Point (US BD).

I see the original Vanishing Point has some extras, one of which is a branching UK version of the film, which contains about an extra ten minutes.

Not exactly.
I'm quite selective when it comes to buying BD films. At the moment, I'm into the 70s film titles. I was interested to see these two versions. Next up will be to get some of Esatwood's titles, possibly the Dirty Harry Collection. I haven't fecide if I'm going to get them individually or the five disc version.

The Dirty Harry Collection goes down quite cheap at times...keep an eye out. You'd do better buying it together than individually price wise.

I've seen it for $23.99 at BJ's. Not the big box with all the gimcrack extras, but who needs that crap?

Yeah the discs are exactly the same in content. I think the big box had one other Eastwood doc in there, but who needs it? At this point I'd rather take up less space in my collection with the $23 set than shelf-hogging oversized boxes like that one.

I feel the same whenever people mention Costco or places like Meijer. I've never been to a Costco and I think there are only a half-dozen in New England. Unless you live right outside Boston or Hartford most people in this part of the world have never been to one.
