• MGM's new release of THE FOG

I was loitering around at Best Buy earlier and noticed this new release of THE FOG from MGM. Is the content the same as the previous Special Edition release or will it be necessary for me to pick it up?

Mike,
I asked Sony for a copy, and they sent me a version that has a 2005 copyright but is, in every way, the same DVD as the one that came out in 2002.

From what I've gathered on other boards, the Best Buy DVD has the same transfer, and all the same supplements. Apparently the only difference is a ticket to next week's remake and a different cover -- so on the basis of that, I'd say no

Thanks, Andy. Now would probably be a good time to break the cellophane on the previous release so I can watch the new documentary.

That's a pretty nice DVD all around...
