don't know whether Andy ever reviewed this German movie, which got an oscar nomination last year. Well, as it was co-produced by the German Network it finally got a TV-Cut.. just like DAS BOOT by Petersen. It runs now almost 180 minutes.

the dvd comes out this week and features tons of extras. I havent even seen the theatrical cut as I don't need to see anything about WW2 at all anymore, still I heard the movie is pretty good.
