I wonder though if they can guarantee that these sets no longer have the bad discs with the missing tag scene for the "Marsha Queen of Diamonds" episode!

When prices drop like that a couple years after the release, its easy to say "you should have waited" and with a lot of stuff that's true but if you're a die-hard fan of something there's no reason to wait IMO.

I would imagine at this point that mistake/oversight has been corrected in copies "in the wild".

As for the price, $50 is a no-brainer. I paid $60-ish for the Italian release (same discs) within, what, a few weeks of the USA release and I was more than happy with it. $75-$100 felt like the neighborhood a standard box always should have been sold at for this show. My problem with Warner was only issuing the "collectors set" with toys and other crap in the US originally, gouging fans with the premium price, before bringing out that same set here.
