Pitt nearly got together with Fincher on Disney's 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA -- looks like it may be happening here.
Will probably take something like this to get this one made, as it's been languishing around for months.

Hey, I liked WWZ and all, but asking Fincher to waste his time and talent on a franchise sequel is like asking Picasso to paint a fence.
