I know that David Puttnam (during his brief tenure running Columbia Pictures) tried to pull the plug on this film. Cosby refused to speak to him thereafter -- which strikes me as odd, considering Cosby should have been grateful to Putnam for his attempts to save the actor some considerable embarrassment.
As far as the score...well, it's not Slipstream!
