So basically this is just what we anticipated...Disney isn't suddenly going to start making "adult movies" again, so there goes a whole slew of film-going choices that might have driven people to the theater. Or any of us who are tired of dumb comic book movies.
These stats are disquieting. And three of the movies on that list have sequels either already released, filming, or in development.
Very sad -- and a great stat too. It's depressing when you see box office analysts go on about US' opening this weekend and how good it is for an "original movie". Them's originals, we don't get much of 'em anymore!
