Amazon "Global Standard" Shipping - Heads Up For Importers

Just a heads-up for those ordering from Amazon.co.uk and the other European Amazons:

There's a new shipping option, "AmazonGlobal Standard", available that seems a bit faster/more reliable than the "Standard" rate, and in the case of ordering 4 discs from the UK, it's cheaper than the Standard rate also. Previously the "Global" method was just applied to faster/premium shipping (and it's still listed as an option), but this "Global Standard" method seems new within the last few weeks.

The price fluctuates a little between the different Amazons -- Amazon.de has always been the cheapest to order from, so I paid about 1 EUR more for AmazonGlobal Standard, but the discs came in about 10 days and went through UPS as opposed to the post office.

For Amazon UK, the price for Global Standard was 1-2 EUR less than traditional Standard shipping, and the transit time seemed a bit faster also.

Just worth checking out when you're checking out! :D
