#1 Post by AndyDursin »

Had a quick email exchange with my Arrow friend. People will be VERY excited by a forthcoming UHD release of theirs that should be announced within the next month. 8)

Nothing you can pass on?
I seem to remember Arrow being connected to the recent Invaders from Mars release.
Are they planning to release that in the UK?

I really can't, I worked hard enough to get back on their mailing list John. But it ought to be announced pretty soon.

I haven't heard anything about them releasing INVADERS FROM MARS. Why not just buy the US disc now that you can get it at "retail" so to speak?

A while back the net seemed 'aflame" about The Warriors coming out with an all bells & whistle edition? maybe it is that & they finally got the full TV version to add to 4K remastered? Some people held back on the Imprint for that reason. Happy with the German media book edition, but if it is true would like to see the TV version, so that would get my interest.

Who knows?

We will find out shortly.

I didn't hear much about THE WARRIORS happening other than some message boarders hoping it would. It would be a no-brainer given how much 4K UHD catalog content Paramount is cranking out (albeit with wildly mixed results).

I will say this is one of my favorites from the 80s, and had a bunch of people carping that it might never happen for one reason or another. It has the potential to be an awesome release and should be but they have a lot of elements to put together still, but it sounds great...multiple soundtracks, isolated scores, etc.

Rumour has it, the release is Conan the Barbarian.

Not sure how long this will last, or if they'll cancel orders, but the 4K box-set is $50 - 25% (MU23NOV code) for a total of $38.22 at Moviesunlimited.

Another 7%-8% off if you use various cashback sites.
