Remember when escapist movies like Raiders Of The Lost Ark or Clash Of The Titans were under two hours? Now you want to escape FROM these movies before they're half over to take a piss. :x

Not that I had any interest in this anyways (didn't even watch the third and fourth Hunger Games movies), but still. This sh!t has to stop.

When you check your watch, and realize there's still 1:15 to go...

It says a lot that Steven Spielberg -- a director whose average movie running time since the early 90s has been around 145 minutes or more -- brought in Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull at...122 minutes. He could have EASILY demanded it be longer, yet he made the movie about six minutes shorter than Last Crusade, because he knew that a simple adventure movie doesn't need to be so punishingly overlong.

Dial Of Destiny was 154 minutes.

Looks like the second weekend of this is gonna outperform a new Disney Princess musical.
