20th Century Studios has provided an official domestic trailer for the new 4K restoration of James Cameron's The Abyss (1989), which will be screened in select theaters across the nation on December 6th.

4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of the 4K restoration are expected to be officially announced and detailed shortly.

When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was "Oh, they're remaking that too?"

I prefer the theatrical version, so I'd bypass this screening anyway.
