Finally got this in the mail yesterday. The sound quality is exquisite , and the music is excellent across the board. I just wish that Intrada would announce the release date of vol. 2 soon. One of the very best soundtrack projects of 2006. Now, if someone would just do the same lavish presentation ...

I just hope this one isn't as ridiculously overlong as the first film, which needed severe trimming a lot more than King Kong. :shock: At least Keira Knightley's cleavage will be on display again. :D

Considering how awful the 5.1 remix on Jaws was, I don't really care. The OT was released originally in 2.0, correct? I'm just thrilled to be getting the unmutilated, Han Shoots First versions finally. 8)

It IS a fun movie, too -- don't forget Vincent D'Onofrio as Thor, future "Rent" star Anthony Rapp, and indeed Bradley Whitford (later of The West Wing) as the snake who cancels on Elisabeth at the last minute. I was also stunned reading the end credits to realize that Shue's mousy friend ...
