Re: JAWS 2 Appreciation in NY Times
I didn't like Jaws 2 as much as Jaws, but I did enjoy it (much more so than Jaws 3-D).
Siskel brushes it off as inferior in this review of Jaws:The Revenge.

Re: All Things Kurosawa
You bring up a great point about the TV actors - the more I thought about the film, the more I feel like it has a "TV mini-series" feel to it (if that makes sense).
I am all about Ran...looking forward to gushing over that one! You can probably guess what my rating will be...lol...

Interview with Danny Elfman
Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) is the host. I have not watched it yet, but might be interesting (though be warned...Billy loves interrupting guests while they talk).

Re: THE WIZARD OF OZ Gets a Lucas Sized AI Makeover
I hope this fails spectacularly...it looks so artificial. That isn't the movie I grew up with, and I will happily keep my money in my pockets and not pay for this ridiculous bastardization.

Re: JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH - July - Overperforming Box Office Estimates
THE LOST WORLD is a filmic abomination that needs stricken from the record!

Tell me what I'm missing, as these were my thoughts from the last viewing (which echoed what I thought the first time):
-Goldblum's character completely useless in ...

Re: Spaceballs 2
I was always disappointed with SPACEBALLS. Watched it again with Theo and...yeah...it just wasn't that funny. Too little too late a decade after STAR WARS. Weak casting in Bill Pullman and Daphne Zuniga. Waste of John Candy and Rick Moranis' time too. The John Hurt bit at the end with the Looney ...
