Re: Boxes sets galore!

...garbage mattes are still in all the scenes with TIE fighters in Episode IV, and they are clearly visible... Which is exactly why I won't be in a hurry to get any new ones coming out this year. I'll wait for reviews, previews, and word of mouth. I really don't care about the prequels, so there ju...

Stone looked really good the last time I saw her, but talk about a bizarre movie to make a sequel to! Stone's looked older than sin the last time I saw her on The Practice. The last time they tried making a "thriller" sequel to a movie that didn't warrant one, it was JAGGED EDGE -- and it...

I'm not as convinced as you are Eric. Schifrin is not exactly renowned for his work in this genre -- actually, has he EVER scored a movie like this? No, he has not. It's an odd choice to be sure. Clearly it's a loyalty gesture by Ratner. Because of his pedigree and total career, that's why I'm keep...

JNH and Zimmer wanted to do the score together. Apparently they are friends and tried already before to do something together (SECRET WINDOW), but had scheduling conflicts. So, it wasnt a wish by the studio or whoever, but they offered that. I would have taken JNH alone, but well, it surely doesnt ...

I'm still trying to figure out how, or why, they had to have TWO "A list" composers on this. Why not just let JNH or Zimmer have the whole thing and be done with it? One, or the other? Why both?! I'm never a big fan of situations like these. What it shows me is this: Even down to details l...

when jnh was still attached to it it said Score by JNH, themes by Jerry Goldsmith... so maybe scott will even just adapt Goldsmith's score? something I would like to have if I was the director! :-) no one will ever top that score, so better adapt it! Smart move. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. As ...

Wild.

I hope the movie is good. The music most certainly will be if this holds.

If it's from John Scott, it'll be a must-buy. I just can't believe they're really making Basic Instinct 2 (?!) WTF is it even going to be about? I'm really happy to see Scott get a "mainstream title" like this and I hope he runs wild on it. I'm sure the movie will be complete trash, though...

I couldn't be less interested, quite frankly. The trailer certainly did nothing for me. I'm long since Batmaned out. Nice looking cast, and I'm rooting for Christian Bale all the way. I may be inclined to see it if I see TONS of GLOWING reviews and feedback about it. I'll be interested to see what k...

Re: Yeah, that was her!

The only watchable parts in "Career Opportuniites" are the ones with Jennifer Connelly in them! I only vaguely remember "Labyrinth", I mean, the whole deal was David Bowie make a new movie, but yep, Jennifer was there too! Wanna go back, really way back? Then watch Sergio Leone'...

The list is endless. You really take a chance when you decide to make a prequel to something, but especially something like Star Wars. IMHO, they botched it and I wish the prequel films as we know them had never been made. That's fair Eric. There will be some fans that feel that way. I was totally ...

These three prequels will be remembered for awesome visuals and lightsaber fights. Not much else. I think this movie is going to be remembered as the film that justified Lucas' prequel undertaking-- time will hold the answer, but I think this movie is going to go down as, if nothing else, a superio...
