I thought that PIRATES's score worked quite well in the movie, the CD nevertheless was put together horribly and repetitive and basically the same as THE RCOK... of course, a score by Silvestri would have been better to it, but still, it worked, had some drive and the maintheme works good, especiall...

CONSTANTINE and the worst score of the year
Hi there, just saw CONSTANTINE in a press showing. Movie was good, starts great, but then doesn't want to know what it wants to be: A Film Noir Dedective Story? An FX Actioner? A religious drama? But it has its share of fairly good and exciting sequences, Hell looks great, though I didn't like the d...

yeah, probably it will be the tpyical-post-Jurassic Park-Spielberg thing about how good or bad or whatver the human race is and he uses the whole thing to make a statement about it. The movie will be advertised as an actioner, but in fact it is just a plain boring drama about crying people finding t...

I thought Herbert is long dead? Well, I always liked th emovie a lot. I guess, the failure of it came mainly because people were expecting another simple Star Wars... the story may be, but the way the story is told probably puts off quite a lot of people. Personally I don't like that you can hear wh...

H.P.Lovecraft's Necronomicon French DVD with iso score
Hi... haven't seen this movie in years and I think I only liked the first episode in this short story movie. Don't remember the score (by Joe LoDuca).. but I know a lot of people were looking for this unreleased score a long time. Well, this week the movie got a release in France and it features kin...

yeah.. Robert Folk is pretty underrated... his TREMORS score is one of the most exciting action scores ever! Amazing that another composer was allowed to have his name on the movie! Well, the main action theme was copied so often, really curious how that happened... TOY SOLDIERS is also a great scor...

just saw Ju-On 2 and that was really, really good. I was really surprised! As I said I hated the japanese RING and the japanese JU-On was ok, but suffered from its budget. This time there is a little bit more story, though still the jumps in time and some other quite effective, weird story telling d...

agree on all of it folks... but I thought in HOLLOW MAN she was quite miscast, she is not a Sigourney Weaver type and the tough heroine wasn't something credible for her. hey, I almost got an extra part in it, so I would have maybe stood next to her... I think SOAPDISH is great! One of my fav...

it's not the worst (that honor goes to both Harald Kloser scores), but it is one of the worst... it doesn't add anything at all to the movie, is completely forgettable, the spotting is bad, it is repetitive (you often think what wonderful long and inventive adventure music Shaiman or Broughton or Wi...
