Battle Of Britain-DVD
Glad to hear that both music scores are available to listen to on this new release, but out of curiosity does this release restore the Churchill quote that had to do with the Battle at the end ("Never was so much..." or something like that) which was replaced in other DVD release by a Churchill quote that didn't have anything to do with the battle ("This was the end of the beginning" or something like that. I should know these things, dang it!!!). The other oddity of that older DVD release was Goodwin not even having any screen credit at all, and Walton having sole music credit!

It's the correct Churchill quote this time out, Eric (and the same quote if you select either the Goodwin or the Walton score). My only gripe, as I wrote, was that they didn't include the DTS soundtracks from the British Region 2 DVD, but I realize most won't care about its inclusion (or lack thereof).Eric Paddon wrote:Glad to hear that both music scores are available to listen to on this new release, but out of curiosity does this release restore the Churchill quote that had to do with the Battle at the end ("Never was so much..." or something like that) which was replaced in other DVD release by a Churchill quote that didn't have anything to do with the battle ("This was the end of the beginning" or something like that. That's our way of getting back at you lot for dragging us into that pointless Iraq business. £3.1bn and counting, and you guys haven't even offered to go Dutch on the check!

I wasn't all that taken with the Region 1 cover either. I much prefer the Region 2 one myself. Glad I brought it with me from dear old blighty.Carlson2005 wrote:AndyDursin wrote:they didn't include the DTS soundtracks from the British Region 2 DVD
