Roman, someone over on the FSM board said it's Chris Young. This would make a lot of sense and given the circumstances, is probably a good pick (though truthfully, I'd kill to hear an upbeat, David Arnold Spider-Man score with a bit of orchestra and electronics!).

Is that your secret? Did they steal it from you?

hm, don't have it from me... but yeah, it is Chris Young!

Which was quite obvious Id say as Raimi used so much of his music already in Spidey 2...

I think this is a great choice, Young deserves a big blockbuster hit and I guess oyu get your upbeat score with this, he may come up with something like Swordfish, which already had some synth-pop-stuff...

ok, it's now on his official unofficial site, too. that's where the guy on the board has it from I guess.

pretty cool... Im very delighted to hear that! John Debney would have been awful...

I like Young -- I don't love him -- but I like the fact he actually uses restraint once in a great while. This score may have more texture than Elfman's, who I really thought was on auto pilot in these films...Spider-Man is a lot more "fun" and free-wheeling, and all Elfman did was turn in a typical, brooding hero work.
