No.....no no no......he can't do it....there is no reason to do it. This is all talk- if anything he'll executive produce it but I cannot see him directing it.....especially if he wants to be taken as a more "serious" filmmaker.

I honestly thought this was a joke when I read it.

I think he's well beyond that point though Michael...he won his Oscar(s), and he seems to be on a fairly routine pattern of making a "serious" film and then following with an escapist entertainment.

Either way this is just more discouraging news out of Hollywood.
