The Gustav Holst Estate is suing him for plagiarising The Planets Suite in his score for Gladiator. Although Zimmer admits he uses the same musical vocabulary as Holst, I do think they'd have a much better case against Bill Conti's The Right Stuff or Cliff Eidelman's Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
Oh yes, that's right - they didn't sell as many copies as Gladiator...
