Of the early titles that would qualify for 75% off, I would recommend:

OLIVER!
BITE THE BULLET
SOUND AND THE FURY
NICHOLAS & ALEXANDRA
MAJOR DUNDEE
DRUMS ALONG THE MOHAWK
DESIREE
IN LIKE FLINT (still in print, original is sold out)
LOST HORIZON (for bad movie lovers)

I suppose I should get In Like Flint even though I missed out on Our Man Flint. Probably would also get Rains Of Ranchipur and from the 50% off category, Bunny Lake and Solomon And Sheba.

At $7.50 it's hard to pass up many of those older titles, some good ones still in the mix (but are unlikely to last long). I already have them, obviously, but that FLINT sequel is well worth it at that price 8)

I don't. I was thinking of picking it up but importing from Australia is my least favorite locale between the shipping prices and transit times. Hopefully something here will materialize...

I might just pick up Love and Death and Broadway Danny Rose at 50% off.

The sale prices are already up ahead of 4 PM so I went ahead and grabbed the four titles I mentioned.

Remember on the very last screen to hit MEDIA MAIL to save on shipping -- it's hard to see and, be forewarned, backing out of that screen clears your selection back to the default, 1st Class. If you're buying a group of titles it can save you anywhere between $5-$8.

Sale runs through December 6, btw...but I'd imagine a good amount of the 75% off titles will not last that long.

Grabbed Nicholas & Alexandra, Jane Eyre, The Bride Wore Black. Titus and Sense & Sensibility, all for $68 and change. :) All but the last two are blind buys. I may go back for seconds, but considering how frequent and low-priced these TT sales have gotten, I can probably wait for the next one.

Hard choices ... many classic films at really good prices. :)

As soon as they dropped the prices (before 4:00PM) I made the following quick order, knowing that the title I really wanted FIRST MEN IN THE MOON was in short supply.

THE SOUND AND THE FURY
MAJOR DUNDEE
JANE EYRE
FIRST MEN IN THE MOON
IN LIKE FLINT
DRUMS ALONG THE MOHAWK

The first two are the ones I'm most worried about: that I will postpone watching to the point where I will never watch them. Sort of in the same league as those CDs we buy but never get around to listening to.

I should pick up others, as so many of them are attractive at 50% to 75% off, but there are so many good ones.
