I bet Paramount is going to get around to this sooner or later -- they've released a glut of $10 catalog discs in the last month (TWO JAKES, UNCOMMON VALOR, TIMELINE, THE PHANTOM, etc.). This would be a no-brainer.

It would be nice to spend $10 on this as opposed to $30, but I'm sorely tempted to get the Aussie version, which has nice packaging and I just want to OWN this ASAP.AndyDursin wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 10:48 pm I bet Paramount is going to get around to this sooner or later -- they've released a glut of $10 catalog discs in the last month (TWO JAKES, UNCOMMON VALOR, TIMELINE, THE PHANTOM, etc.). Re: DEAD AGAIN coming from Down Under
I hear you, I paid $5 for the Vudu streaming version a few years ago and I'd guarantee Via's disc is going to be mastered off the same (old) Paramount master, so I'm content with my digital streaming copy. But if you are a big fan of it, I get it.
If it ends up in Paramount's $10 line, it won't have the extras either, though it may well have a superior transfer. I wonder if they'd consider releasing it in their Paramount Presents line, in which case it would get a 4K restoration.

Re: DEAD AGAIN coming from Down Under
I'd want the two (excellent) commentary tracks so I could safely unload the DVD, so I'll likely import for one of my biggest Blu wants.
Plus, with some digital copy sales coming in I can knock some money off the price when Deep Discount gets some copies in.

Pre-ordered for about $20 subtracting the current 10% off discount and some digital copy Paypal funds. More than worth it.

That's worth it, I just wouldn't have advised spending $30 or over or ordering from Australia at the present time.
