I was taken aback by this since I had no idea she was fighting cancer. Although I never watched "Fall Guy" I first became aware of her because of her regular presence on the game show circuit including MG/HSQ Hour, Super Password and the 80s Pyramid (where she was one of the best players and always made an entrance in a sexy outfit). Her natural game show ability stemmed from the fact that before she started acting on a regular basis she'd worked in game show production first on the 70s ABC show "Split Second" (the last episode in 1975 which shows host Tom Kennedy bringing out the production crew lets you see her a glimpse of her then), then the 1977 Alex Trebek hosted "Double Dare" and then fill-in work as a model on the original Jim Perry hosted "Card Sharks".
Because I first enjoyed her presence on the game shows I began watching "Night Court" regularly when she joined the cast. She was perfect for that show. Ironically, I'd recently "cast" her when coming up with an original character for the current wave of Galactica fanfic I've been writing (envisioning the right actress of the era).
RIP, Markie.

Real sorry to see and hear that. I remember her on Night Court... I may have run across her again after that but can't remember off the top of my head.
